King James Version (KJV) Compared to The Alpha & Omega Bible (AOB)

Most people try to prove The Alpha & Omega Bible, New American Standard (NASB), NIV & other translations wrong by comparing them with the King James Version as if the KJV was the actual original scrolls that the prophets & apostles wrote. But the fact is that the KJV was not written until over 1600 years after Christ went back to Heaven. Other translations cannot be proven wrong by comparing them with the KJV alone. The only way to prove any translation wrong is by comparing it with the oldest, most complete scrolls/codices, thus most reliable bibles we have on the planet & also by comparing the words with established & well respected lexicons/concordances. The reason that I say "most complete" is that when we have thousands of tiny fragments with very faint letters, we cannot be 100% sure what letter/word/sentence goes with another. But when we have entire pages of ancient manuscripts/scrolls/codex that are well preserved, we can have more confidence.

King James Version (KJV) The Alpha & Omega Bible (AOB)Refer to: Oldest, Most Complete Ancient Bibles & Strong's Concordance
KJV Luke 14:26 "If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple".

AOB “IF ANYONE COMES TO ME, AND IS NOT WILLING TO FORSAKE (when necessary) HIS OWN FATHER AND MOTHER AND WIFE AND CHILDREN AND BROTHERS AND SISTERS, YES, AND EVEN HIS OWN LIFE, HE CANNOT BE MY DISCIPLE". Almost every bible translation of Luke 14:26 says that we must hate all of our family in order to follow Jesus. But that goes against the commandment of loving everyone and honoring parents. Most scholars do not know enough about the nature of God, nor what the bible really teaches, to translate this correctly. The publisher of The Alpha & Omega Bible is almost the only bible publisher on earth that correctly understands the ancient meaning of Greek #3404 miseo – properly, to detest (on a comparative basis); denounce (forsake); to love someone or something less than someone (something) else, i.e. to renounce one choice in favor of another.
KJV teaches that God hates sinners, yet also contradicts itself when compared to Rms 5:8 and other verses.
Psalm 5:5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.
Psalm 11:5 The Lord tests the righteous, but his soul hates the wicked and the one who loves violence.

Romans 5:8 in the KJV and AOB both teaches that Jesus died for us while we were still sinners. 1 John 4:8 in both translations declares that God is love. John 3:16 teaches that He loved the (sinful) world so much that He died for us.
Similar to Luke 14:26, most scholars have no idea how to translate Greek #3404 miseo – properly, to detest (on a comparative basis); denounce (forsake); to love someone or something less than someone (something) else, i.e. to renounce one choice in favor of another.
Matt.8:20 "And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head".

AOB "JESUS SAID TO HIM, “THE FOXES HAVE HOLES AND THE BIRDS OF THE AIR HAVE NESTS, BUT THE SON OF MANKIND HAS NOWHERE TO LAY HIS HEAD.” Strong's Greek word #444 - anthrōpos which means humans, humanity, mankind. It does not specify male. Jesus was not the physical son of Joseph. The more accurate translation by The AOB helps people to understand & comprehend what's actually being said.
KJV uses the word "unicorn" in Num.23:22; 24:8 Job 39:9-10 Psalm 29:6; 92:10 AOB uses the words Rhinoceros & Rhinoceroses. There has never been any such thing as a unicorn. They are mythological creatures that never existed. Many atheists use these KJV verses to attempt to disprove the bible and God. The Greek word found in copies of the Greek Septuagint (LXX), which are the world's oldest complete bible manuscripts, is "Monocerhos", from which we get the Latin word "unicorn". (Both mono & uni mean "one") The scientific Latin name of the one horned variety of the Rhinoceros is "Rhinoceros Unicornis". It's extremely clear that the bible is talking about the rhinoceros and not unicorns. If we want atheists to accept the bible, we should use the AOB.

KJV uses the word "God" which is a German word that never appeared in any ancient bible manuscript before the 1600's.

AOB uses the word "Theos" in place of "God". The Greek word used for "God" in the Old Testament Greek Septuagint Bible that Jesus & the apostles grew up with was "Theos". The apostles also wrote "Theos" in the New Testament.
KJV John 14:16 "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;" AOB John 14:16 "I WILL ASK THE FATHER, AND HE WILL GIVE YOU ADDITIONAL ADVOCATE, THAT HE MAY BE WITH YOU FOREVER;"
“Additional” here is G243 which is translated as “more” in Matt.25:16, 17, 20, 22.
Advocate = G3875 parakletos (from 3844 para, "from close-beside" and 2564: kaleo, "make a call") – properly, a legal advocate who makes the right judgment call because of He is close enough to the situation.
Parakletos ("advocate, advisor-helper") was the term in New Testament times of an attorney (lawyer) – i.e. someone giving evidence that stands up in court). A being with legal knowledge & legal standing, with evidence, who stands beside you in support of you and testifies on your behalf. See 1 John 2:1

KJV Matt.28:19 "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:" Matt.28:19 AOB "GO THEREFORE AND MAKE DISCIPLES OF ALL THE NATIONS, IMMERSING/BAPTIZING THEM IN WATER IN MY NAME," The words "of the Father, and the Son and the Holy Ghost" were added by the Roman Catholic Church. Pope Benedict and the Catholic Church admits this. The AOB also emphasizes the accurate meaning of the Greek word "baptizing" as immersing in water rather than just sprinkling.

KJV Revelation 2-3 letters to the 7 churches says to "write to the angel of the church". AOB says to write to "the messenger/pastor of the church". The Greek word can be translated as angel or messenger. It does not always refer to an angel, therefore the context of the writing must be considered in order to attain the correct translation. John was not instructed to write letters to 7 angels. He was instructed to write to the pastors of the 7 congregations. Who received these letters? Angels or the congregations? The pastors of the congregations literally received these letters and the book of Revelation to read to the congregation.

KJV Matt.16:18 "And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.", AOB Matt.16:18 "I ALSO SAY TO YOU THAT YOU ARE PETER (SMALL ROCK). BUT UPON THIS FOUNDATION STONE (Jesus Himself) I WILL BUILD MY CHURCH; AND THE GATES OF THE GRAVE WILL NOT OVERPOWER IT". The KJV makes it look like Jesus might possibly be saying that He would build the church upon the very man who denied Him at least 3 times & even swore & cursed, Mark 14:71. But the AOB bible emphasizes the meanings of the original Greek words to get the correct understanding that Jesus was saying that He would build His Church upon Himself & that the grave would not be able to hold His body down. Matt.7:24 Acts 4:11 Col.3:10-11 & 1 Cor.3:11 Eph.5:20-23 1 Peter 2:5-7

KJV Exo. 12:40-41 "Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years. And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt." AOB Exo. 12:40-41 "AND THE SOJOURNING OF THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL, WHILE THEY SOJOURNED IN THE LAND OF EGYPT AND THE LAND OF CANAAN, WAS FOUR HUNDRED AND THIRTY YEARS. AND IT CAME TO PASS AFTER THE FOUR HUNDRED AND THIRTY YEARS, ALL THE FORCES (armies) OF JESUS CAME FORTH OUT OF THE LAND OF EGYPT BY NIGHT." Despite traditional incorrect teaching, it's impossible that the Israelites were in slavery in Egypt the entire 430 years. Moses was 80 years old when they left Egypt, Exo.7:7. His dad Amram lived to be 137 years old, Exo.6:20. And Moses' grandfather, Kohath lived to be 133 in Exo. 6:18. Kohath was one of the people who came into Egypt with Jacob, Gen.46:11, 26. If you take all 133 years of the life of Kohath + all 137 years of Amram + 80 years of Moses' life until the Exodus = only 350 total years! And this is considering from birth to death of Moses' dad and grandfather! So it's literally impossible for Israel to have been in slavery in Egypt for 400 - 430 years!
The 430 years includes the time that Abraham & his descendants were in Canaan before they came into Egypt. They were in Egypt for only 215 yrs, and in slavery for only 80-144 yrs. Click here to watch video for more proof.
The Greek Septuagint upon which the AOB is based upon, includes the phrase "and the land of Canaan". The corrupted Masoretic Text upon which the KJV, NASB & NIV is based upon, leaves out this extremely important phrase, thus allowing for the wrong doctrine. For correct doctrine, we must use a bible based upon the Greek Septuagint. The KJV is at fault for the traditional wrong teaching that the Israelites were slaves for 400 - 430 years when that is totally impossible.

KJV Gen.11:12-22 declares that Arpachshad was 35 years old when he became the dad of Shelah. Shelah was 30 when he became the dad of Eber. Eber was 34 when he became the dad of Peleg. Peleg was 30 when he became the dad of Reu. Reu was 32 when be became the dad of Serug. Serug was 30 when he became the father of Nahor. The AOB says that each of these men were an additional 100 years older than what the KJV says. The AOB agrees with the Greek Septuagint (LXX). The KJV agrees with the Masorectic Text. The first century A.D. historian Flavius Josephus records these ages in agreement with the LXX. Therefore it's clear that the bibles of the 1st century were the LXX. This is extremely important because the Jews deny that Jesus is the High Priest or God because they say that Jesus is not King Melchizedek. Instead, they say that Shem of verse 10 was Melchizedek, which is impossible because Shem was not alive during the lifetime of Abraham. But the ages of the men in the KJV makes it possible that Shem was alive and could have talked to Abraham. But the ages of these men in the LXX makes it impossible for Shem to have been alive at that time. Therefore, for Jews to accept that Jesus is the Messiah, we must use bibles based on the LXX such as the AOB. The KJV is at fault for Jews not accepting Jesus as the Messiah. Click to watch video.

KJV Gen.46:27 Exo. 1:5 says 70 people went to Egypt AOB KJV Gen.46:27 Exo. 1:5 says 75 people went to Egypt Acts 7:14 of the KJV agrees with the LXX/AOB Old Testament. The bible of the first century that Stephen had read from said 75 people. The Dead Sea Scrolls copy of Exo.1:5 also says 75. The New Testament KJV disagrees with the Old Testament KJV. The KJV proves itself wrong!
KJV Isa.61:1 leaves out the phrase "and recovery of sight to the blind" AOB includes the phrase "and recovery of sight to the blind" KJV Luke 4:18 includes this phrase. Therefore, Jesus agrees with the LXX/AOB copy of Isa.61:1. The New Testament KJV disagrees with the Old Testament KJV. The KJV proves itself wrong.

KJV Acts 12:4 "And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people". AOB Acts 12:4 "WHEN HE HAD SEIZED HIM, HE PUT HIM IN PRISON, DELIVERING HIM TO FOUR SQUADS OF SOLDIERS TO GUARD HIM, INTENDING AFTER THE PASSOVER TO BRING HIM OUT BEFORE THE PEOPLE". Strong's G3957 - Pascha. This word can only be translated as "Passover". There is no way this can be translated as "Easter". Some people try to argue that the context is a pagan/heathen/sinner observing a pagan holiday. But that excuse completely ignores the actual word of the original scripture. It means Passover and there is no way around it. The AOB has this correct! The people who still try to claim that "Pascha" can be translated as "Easter" have no idea how to translate Greek & Hebrew words & are only going by what they have been told.

KJV Exodus 20:13 "Thou shalt not kill". AOB Exodus 20:13 "YOU SHALL NOT MURDER". There is no difference between saying "thou" and "you". It means exactly the same thing. One of these words is not more holy than the other. "You" is more easily understood by people who are new to the bible and to people from different nations. It's modern English rather than 1611 English. That's a good thing, not bad.

kill or murder is Strong's H7523 - ratsach. murder, slay, kill A. (Qal) to murder, slay
i. premeditated ii. accidental iii. as avenger iv. slayer (intentional)
B. (Niphal) to be slain
C. (Piel) i. to murder, assassinate

It is not a sin to kill an animal for food. It is not a sin to kill in self-defense. It is not a sin to kill by accident. It is not a sin to kill the enemy within a war. God sent many nations into war. There is a difference between kill & murder. AOB is more true to the meaning of the original scriptures. I have personally met many men who won't even kill a spider, ant, deer or any animal or insect because they think that the bible commands that we can never kill. The KJV is at fault for this ridiculous way of thinking! Men have become wimps because of the KJV bible!

KJV sometimes refers to God as "he", "him", "his". AOB says HE, HIM, HIS.
AOB always uses all capital letters for every word of holy scripture, as was done in the original writings!
The original bible scrolls and codices capitalized every letter of scripture. The AOB is more true to original scripture.
KJV uses "Jehovah" for the Name of GOD. AOB never refers to GOD as "Jehovah". Two Catholic monks invented the name of "Jehovah" around 1270 AD. It never appeared in any bible version until after that time. It is based on "YHWH" or "YHVH" which also never appeared in scripture until the Babylonian captivity of the Jews. Catholics then guessed on what vowels to add between each of the 4 letters, even though those 4 letters also did not appear in the original scriptures and Moses did not write them. Click here for proof and more information.

KJV Hebrews 4:9 "There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God". AOB Hebrews 4:9 "THEREFORE, THERE REMAINS A KEEPING OF THE SABBATH FOR THE PEOPLE OF THEOS (The Alpha & Omega)." Strong's G4520 - sabbatismos. Vine's Expository Dictionary: "a keeping of a sabbath" (akin to sabbatizo, "to keep the Sabbath," used, e.g., in Ex. 16:30)
The AOB has this correct! The AOB is repeatedly more clear in correct doctrine including the keeping of The Ten Commandments including The 7th Day (Sabbath Day). Many people think that the Sabbath is not in the New Testament. But it is. The Catholic Church & the Church of England purposely translated this verse wrong in order to deceive the people into thinking that we do not have to keep the Sabbath day. That's fact whether you like it or not!

KJV 1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
8 And there are three that bear witness in earth,
the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.
A few late manuscripts add ..."in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit, and these three are one. And there are three that testify on earth, the Spirit".
Those words are not found in any of the earliest/oldest scrolls/bibles. In fact, it did not appear in any bible until the 10th century or later. AOB stays true to the original scriptures. KJV adds to the original scriptures.
To this fact, the following other translations agree that these words do not belong in the scriptures: NASB, NLT, NIV, ESV, RSV, DARBY, HNV, MGNT, VUL and many others.
See the verse in the Codex Sinaiticus and Codex Vaticanus. Two of the oldest bibles on the planet.

No, the KJV did not consider the Greek Septuagint in its translation. Yes, the AOB actually is an English translation of the Greek Septuagint, the bible that Jesus & the apostles grew up with! The Greek Septuagint is the Greek translation of the scriptures. Originally, the Old Testament had been written partly in True Hebrew which is called "Paleo-Hebrew". Then, the Hebrews including the Jews, rejected the true one Almighty God and went fornicating with the Assyrian and Babylonian gods. Therefore God sent them into captivity into Assyria and Babylon. There, they continued to accept Babylonian religious traditions and doctrines. They also adopted the Assyrian language of Aramaic. They translated the Hebrew scriptures into Aramaic, thereby also injecting into scripture the names of the Babylon witchcraft gods such as "YHWH/YHVH".
Eventually God prepared for the arrival of Jesus and had the scriptures restored by having them translated into the Greek language which is almost identical in sound and looks as true Hebrew. Jesus and the Apostles used the Greek Septuagint, taught from it and quoted it. The Apostles then wrote the New Testament in Greek. Copies of the combination of the Greek Septuagint Old Testament and the Greek New Testament were eventually distributed. The Codex Vaticanus from the year 350 A.D. is a copy of that bible. It is called Vaticanus only because the Vatican has that bible on its shelves at the Vatican. But they did not write it. It is not a production of the Vatican. It is written in Greek, not Latin. It is written in the exact manner and language that the Apostles would have written in.

The KJV translates 4 different Hebrew and Greek words as the one word English word "hell" even though they have different meanings. AOB translates the original Hebrew word "sheol" & the original Greek word "hades" as "the grave" because that's exactly what it means & has nothing to do with burning in those specific verses with those specific ancient words.
The word "hades" appears in 11 verses in the original New Testament writings. It means "the grave" and deserves to be translated as "the grave" to avoid confusion over doctrines related to hell. The Old Testament word "sheol" also means the grave and has nothing to do with a place of fire. However, when Jesus and the Apostles spoke the word "Gehenna", that does refer to the Lake of Fire & is properly translated as "Lake of Fire" or "Valley of Hinnom" or else is kept as "Gehenna". The AOB again stays true to the original scriptures without bias of traditional doctrine.
See article "Truth about Heaven and Hell, What happens when you die".

KJV Mark 7:19 "Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats?" AOB Mark 7:19 "BECAUSE IT DOES NOT GO INTO HIS HEART, BUT INTO HIS STOMACH, AND IS ELIMINATED. ALL UNCLEAN MEATS PURIFIED." purging = Strong's G2511 - katharizo = I. to make clean, cleanse A. from physical stains and dirt i. utensils, food ii. a leper, to cleanse by curing iii. to remove by cleansing B. in a moral sense i. to free from defilement of sin and from faults ii. to purify from wickedness iii. to free from guilt of sin, to purify iv. to consecrate by cleansing or purifying v. to consecrate, dedicate II. to pronounce clean in a Levitical sense

Therefore AOB is more accurate and more clear about true doctrine.
See article "Proof JESUS did cleanse all animal meats".

KJV Matt.14:8 "And she, being before instructed of her mother, said, Give me here John Baptist’s head in a charger". AOB Matt. 14:8 "HAVING BEEN PROMPTED BY HER MOM, SHE SAID, "GIVE ME HERE ON A PLATTER THE HEAD OF JOHN THE ONE WHO IMMERSES/BAPTIZES." KJV makes it look like John's last name was "Baptist", while AOB clarifies that John was the one who baptizes by immersion.

KJV 1 Cor.15:52 "in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed." AOB 1 Cor. 15:52 "IN A MOMENT, IN THE TWINKLING OF AN EYE, AT THE LAST TRUMPET; FOR THE TRUMPET WILL SOUND, AND THE DEAD WILL BE RAISED IMPERISHABLE, AND WE WILL BE CHANGED." Some people try to use the KJV language of "trump" to try to claim that it's not talking about the last of the 7 Trumpets of the book of Revelation. Strong's G4536 - salpigx is the same Greek word used for the 7 Trumpets of the book of Revelation.
AOB makes doctrine more clear, leaving less room for misunderstandings.

KJV 2 Thes.2:3 "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;" AOB 2 Thes. 2:3 "LET NO ONE IN ANY WAY DECEIVE YOU. (It's) NOT UNTIL THE APOSTASY COMES FIRST, AND THE MAN OF LAWLESSNESS IS REVEALED/MANIFESTED, THE SON OF PERDITION," KJV says let no man deceive you. Should we allow women to deceive us?
AOB declares what "sin" is. See 1 John 3:4.
KJV Romans 8:19-22 "For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. 20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, 21 because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. " AOB Romans 8:19-22 "FOR THE ANXIOUS LONGING OF THE CREATION WAITS EAGERLY FOR THE REVEALING OF THE SONS OF THEOS (The Alpha & Omega). 20 FOR THE CREATION WAS SUBJECTED TO VANITY (Gen.1:2), NOT WILLINGLY, BUT BECAUSE OF HIM (Satan) WHO SUBJECTED IT, IN HOPE (that He would overthrow Theos) 21 THAT THE CREATION ITSELF ALSO WILL BE SET FREE FROM ITS BONDAGE TO CORRUPTION INTO THE LIBERTY OF THE GLORY OF THE CHILDREN OF THEOS (The Alpha & Omega). 22 FOR WE KNOW THAT THE WHOLE CREATION GROANS AND SUFFERS THE PAINS OF CHILDBIRTH TOGETHER UNTIL NOW." AOB more consistently translates Strong's G2937 - ktisis as "creation". KJV sometimes translates it as "creature". G2937 means anything that has been created. Creation is a better and more accurate translation. When we translate it into 2 different words in the same passage, like KJV does, it causes confusion. Theos (The Alpha & Omega) is not the author of confusion.

KJV Matt.24:15 "When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) " AOB Matt. 24:15 "THEREFORE WHEN YOU SEE THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION WHICH WAS SPOKEN OF THROUGH DANIEL THE PROPHET, STANDING IN THE HOLY PLACE (LET THE READER UNDERSTAND)" KJV makes it look like we are commanded to go stand there. AOB makes it more clear that the son of perdition will be standing there. Most all bible translations use the word "standing".

KJV Luke 18:12 "I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess." AOB Luke 18:12 "I FAST TWICE A WEEK; I PAY TITHES OF ALL THAT I GET." Strong's G2932 - ktaomai = acquire, get, or procure a thing for one's self, to possess.
The KJV translates Strong's G2932 in the following manner: possess (3x), purchase (2x), provide (1x), obtain (1x).
Tithes should not be paid on what you already possess, only on increase, therefore AOB is more accurate on doctrine.

KJV "God save the King": 1Sam 10:24, 2Sam 16:16, 1Kings 1:25 AOB 1Sam 10:24 "LONG LIVE THE KING".
1Kings 1:25 "LONG LIVE KING".
The Hebrew and Greek words for "God" is not in the Textus Receptus of these verses, which the KJV is supposed to be based on. So if the Texus Receptus does not include the word God in these verses, Why does KJV add them? AOB is more true to the scriptures.
KJV Romans 3:4 "God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged". AOB Romans 3:4 "MAY IT NEVER BE! RATHER, LET THEOS (The Alpha & Omega) BE FOUND TRUE, THOUGH EVERY MAN BE FOUND A LIAR, AS IT IS WRITTEN,
The first part of the sentence in KJV "God forbid", is not found in this verse in the Textus Receptus. The KJV is supposed to be based on the Textus Receptus. So why does KJV add words into scripture? KJV adds this same phrase in all the following verses: Romans 3:4,6,31; 6:2,15; 7:7,13; 9:14; 11:1,11; 1 Co. 6:15; Ga. 2:17; 3:21; 6:14
The AOB stays true to original scripture.

KJV in Exodus 32:25 says Moses found the people Naked (meaning nude) when he came down off the mountain. This is not correct. AOB correctly translates it as "out of control". Strong's H6544 - para means "to show lack of restraint" or "out of control". It does not mean nude or naked. AOB correctly translates the original scriptures and gives us true doctrine and accurate history.

KJV Rev. 5:9 "And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth".
Who is singing? From the context and previous verses, it is very clear it is the angels (beast/living creatures). The angels are not redeemed by the blood of Christ. Only humans are. KJV makes it sound like it's the angels who are redeemed. AOB makes it clear that the angels are singing about the redemption of mankind.
Once again, AOB makes things more clear and accurate.

KJV Matt. 6:25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
:34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Phil. 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Thought/careful/worry is Strong's G3309 - merimnao = to be anxious, to be troubled with cares.
KJV teaches people to not even think about your life, what you are going to eat, wear, etc and for the future. Whereas the AOB correctly translates it as do not "worry", do not be "anxious". The wrong translation in KJV has caused some people to actually be homeless because they think the bible teaches that they should not plan for anything, therefore they live irresponsible lives, not taking any care for necessary preparations, planning and goals. I have personally witnessed this in some of the homeless population. The KJV is at fault for people being homeless due to not being responsible. These people quote the KJV verse that says that they are not to think about anything.

KJV Gen. 28:17 And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful is this place! this is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven. AOB Gen. 28:17 HE WAS AFRAID AND SAID, “HOW AWESOME IS THIS PLACE! THIS IS NONE OTHER THAN THE HOUSE OF THEOS (The Alpha & Omega), AND THIS IS THE GATE OF HEAVEN.” Strong's H3372 - yare' can be translated as "to fear, revere, be afraid, to stand in awe of, be awed, reverence, honour, respect, to cause astonishment and awe, be held in awe". We must consider the context to apply the correct expression. The definition of dreadful is "causing or involving great suffering, fear, or unhappiness; extremely bad or serious". Jacob may have had some reverence fear but he did not think it was a bad or dreadful thing. It was awesome! Most bible translations and commentaries agree that the word should be translated as awesome.

KJV Rev. 17:6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration. AOB Rev. 17:6 AND I SAW THE WOMAN DRUNK WITH THE BLOOD OF THE SAINTS, AND WITH THE BLOOD OF THE WITNESSES OF JESUS. WHEN I SAW HER, I WONDERED GREATLY. Strong's G2296 - thaumazo can be translated as to wonder, wonder at, marvel, to be wondered at, to be had in admiration. We must look at the context. KJV makes it look like John is admiring Babylon, but of course he was not an admirer of Babylon. He was seeing an amazing sight and wondered greatly.

KJV Gen.22:1 And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am. AOB Gen. 22:1 NOW IT CAME ABOUT AFTER THESE THINGS, THAT THEOS (The Alpha & Omega) TESTED ABRAHAM, AND SAID TO HIM, “ABRAHAM!” AND HE SAID, “HERE I AM.” God does not tempt. James 1:13 KJV Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man.
It is the devil who tempts. 1 Cor. 7:5 KJV Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.
Strong's H5254 - nacah: to test, try, prove, tempt (but not in the modern sense of the word), assay, put to the proof or test.
In context, the word tempt is not correct. In context, the word should be correctly translated as test.

KJV Hebrews 13:16 But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. AOB Hebrews 13:16 AND DO NOT NEGLECT DOING GOOD AND SHARING, FOR WITH SUCH SACRIFICES THEOS (The Alpha & Omega) IS PLEASED. Strong's G2842 - koinonia = fellowship, association, community, communion, joint participation, intercourse
A. the share which one has in anything, participation
B. intercourse, fellowship, intimacy
i. the right hand as a sign and pledge of fellowship (in fulfilling the apostolic office)
C. a gift jointly contributed, a collection, a contribution, as exhibiting an embodiment and proof of fellowship

Majority of bible translations say share. KJV makes G2842 seem like just communication/talking. But it's much more than that. It's sharing. As in the sense of communion, fellowship, giving in an intimate way.
AOB hints at something greater than talk. KJV limits it to mere conversation.

KJV 2 Corinthians 5:21: For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. AOB 2 Corinthians 5:21: HE CAUSED HIM WHO KNEW NO SIN (to become a) SIN OFFERING (Rms.8:3) ON OUR BEHALF, SO THAT WE MIGHT BECOME THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF THEOS (The Alpha & Omega) IN HIM. It's ridiculous to say that Christ became sin. This is clearly comparing Christ's sacrifice with a sin offering. KJV and NASB both have this wrong.
KJV Isaiah 63:9 In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old. AOB Isaiah 63:9 OUT OF ALL THEIR AFFLICTION: NOT AN AMBASSADOR, NOR A MESSENGER, BUT HE THE LORD HIMSELF SAVED THEM, BECAUSE HE LOVED THEM AND SPARED THEM: HE HIMSELF REDEEMED THEM, AND TOOK THEM UP, AND LIFTED THEM UP ALL THE DAYS OF OLD. Most translations say that "the angel of his presence" saved them. What does that mean? The AOB uses the Greek Septuagint, which clarifies that this is no one else but God Himself!
KJV and most other bibles use the word "cross". AOB uses the word "stake". The original Greek word was Strong's Greek #4716 "stauros" which should simply be translated as "stake" and has nothing to do with 2 or more beams of wood tied/nailed together. The symbolism of the serpent on the poll in Numbers 21 confirms that the crucifixion stake of Christ was only a single column pole, not a cross. There is a menorah in the temple of God in Heaven, but no cross.

We could go on and on about how AOB is more accurate in scripture than the KJV.
We are not claiming that The Alpha & Omega Bible is 100% accurate. We are not declaring that.
Every translation available to us has errors. But we firmly believe that The Alpha & Omega Bible is the best translation that we currently have available.

The Creator's Name Removed

Most pastors & people who are KJV only activists claim that the KJV is 100% accurate with nothing added or taken out. Yet every bible scholar on the planet (of all religions & denominations) all agree that the true name of God was removed from the scriptures & replaced with the words "the LORD" throughout the Old Testament. There isn't even a question about it, we know that occurred! It's established fact! The only debate is: what was his true name that was removed? Click here for proof what it was. So when people try to tell you that the KJV is 100% the word of God with nothing added or taken away, they show their complete ignorance of well documented bible history.

Accusation: Many KJV only people claim that the AOB, NIV & NASB leaves out certain words, sentences & verses which are very important to scripture.
The fact is that the KJV added words, sentences & verses to holy scripture, whereas modern bibles restores scripture, translating only the words that actually existed in scripture. Wherever words are absent from the AOB, it's only because those words were absent from original scripture as shown by the oldest surviving manuscripts. KJV people try to prove the AOB wrong by comparing AOB with KJV as if the KJV was the original scripture, yet the KJV is only just one more translation of scripture, not the original! We must compare any translation & all translations with the oldest manuscripts we have available to us.

Question: Why is the name "Lucifer" only in KJV in Isa.14:12?
Answer: The word "Lucifer" was never used by God to refer to the devil. It was never used in any bible until the Catholic Church translation called the Vulgate by St. Jerome.
The Latin word lucifer just means "light bearer or morning star".
The Assyrian bible that the KJV is translated from said "hêlêl or heylel" in Isa.14:12, not Lucifer. The Greek Septuagint that Jesus and the first century church used said "heōsphoros". So the use of the name Lucifer was a Catholic invention.
So AOB translates Isa.14:12 more correctly. The Latin name "Lucifer" although never used by God/Jesus, has now come to refer to only Satan. Therefore it refers to Satan. Not Jesus. Some people try to say that refers to Jesus. That's because the people that say that are evil people. The Latin word could refer to any star of the sky or even to Jesus but that does not mean that Jesus is Satan as some evil people try to claim. It just simply means star or light.

Do you disagree? We encourage you to take your time in prayer & fasting as you continue to examine this subject. Many times, it takes days/weeks, even years to undo man's doctrines or traditional thinking. It's a process. Many times, just reading websites is not enough. We must be willing to take the time to talk to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in much prayer & fasting, and continual repentance and continued growth in spiritual maturity. We should pray that He remove all deception from us & always be willing to change as He continues to teach us. If we have not changed anything that we believe in 12 months, we are not growing enough in his truth. We must continue to grow every year until we reach full maturity to the full stature of Jesus Christ. Eph. 4:11-16. May Jesus continue to bless you in all of your seeking for his truth.
